Carlo Bergamini, a student from class 5° in our institute, talks about his experience in Australia:

He went to Australia on 20 of June last summer and he came back in September.
Soon after he had arrived he started to attend an Australian school  Galen Catholic College”.
He says that there are a lot of differences between australian and italian schools. In Australia guys must wear a uniform and each student chooses the subjects he wants to study. The relationship with teachers and students is very different, more informal and closer in a sense. Students work hard during school time but in the afternoon they do sports and others activities because they do not have  homework. They study six subjects, English and Religion are compulsory.
They do a test every weekend for each subject but tests are very easy.
School starts at 9.00 and it finishes at 15.30. So Carlo everyday woke up at 7.00 for take the bus at 7.40 and he came back home at 16.45 because his home was very far to the school. They meal at school canteen. During school lunch lots of people talked to him because they knew he was alone.

First day in Australia he slept a lot.
He played football and went jogging.

He had dinner early, then he watched Australian TV.
He made a lot of friends and now he misses them all and he would like to go back to Australia maybe he will go after he finishes school. Also he would like to go back to Australia when it’s summer because when he went for the first time it was winter.
Notwithstanding the fact he has a lot of friends in Italy he feels empty without his Australian friends and lifestyle.
He had found difficult communication because a lot of words and pronunciation are different.
He recommends this experience to others because it really was an extraordinary experience and very important to improve English.
